Laney

Laney is 15 and is a proud member of the staff at 321 Coffee in Raleigh, North Carolina. Her favorite coffee flavoring there is spiced apple.

When not at work, she keeps busy with several different activities and sports, including hip hop and jazz dance, yoga and Girl Scouts with fellow barista Grace, baseball, and basketball. She also meets a personal trainer at the gym; she says her favorite pieces of equipment there are the leg machines. Laney is also a gymnast, and has spent the past five years competing in Special Olympics competitions. She's trained in bars, beam, floor, and vault.

When at home, Laney loves listening to pop artist Pink, and is also a Christmas-music-any-time-of-year kind of girl, says her mother. Her favorite movies at the moment are "Mary Poppins Returns" and "Descendants." Laney also loves to paint.
