Joshua

Joshua, 18, is an athlete and aspiring personal trainer living in New York City. Pictured in his kippah in the second image, the multi-talented teenager is proud of his Jewish heritage and can speak both Hebrew and English. His numerous hobbies have included basketball, football, swimming, volleyball, baseball, gymnastics, dancing, ice skating, and @specialolympics athletic games.

The young athlete can also play the drums, paint, and sing. At home, Joshua can also be found practicing ping pong, shooting hoops, cooking, listening to music, and playing with his younger sister. Favorite movies include Iron Man, Home Alone, High School Musical, Spy Kids, and the Captain America series.

Among Joshua’s role models—primarily professional athletes and actors—are his parents, kabbalistic teachers Monica and Michael Berg. His direct care professional Maria describes him as “an awesome person who is destined for greatness.” We absolutely agree.
